5 days to go: Whispers of nature, watercolor painting, and letting go

Why I put “Dreamers” on hold to let Champinups blossom.

Hi! How are you?

The sun is finally back here. I spend my afternoons with my laptop surrounded by nature and my friends, the “Baa” girls! (That's what I call my favorite sheep, even though they each have sweet names).

Lately, I've been going through some rough patches. I can't tell you everything yet, but it led me to make a radical decision: to pause the launch of Dreamers (originally planned for June).

For someone like me who's not used to letting go of control, it's quite a challenge! But it's a necessary decision.

Sometimes you have to let yourself be carried along by what life has to offer and make room for the unexpected.

🍄 A fantastic project: The “Champinup” bestiary!

This free time has allowed me to immerse myself body and soul in a world that transports me: that of mushroom women.

Imagine a book in the style of an adventurer's journal, illustrated entirely in watercolor by Thib (my illustrator husband), where the magic of the visible and the invisible meet. Spirits of nature, the Champinups have a lot to teach us about the world around us.

I am the narrator for this project. My role?

• To tell their unique stories.

• Explaining their essential role in the invisible ecosystem.

• Revealing the secrets they are willing to share.

To achieve this, I use my favorite method: I spend a lot of time... talking to them in intuitive writing mode. 🌿

While Thib brings the Champinups to life with incredible finesse in his watercolors, I am captivated by the fascinating stories they whisper to me. It is a collaborative effort where images and words intertwine to create a veritable fantastic bestiary.
