Why I stopped fighting my emotions and turned them into the driving force behind my intuitive writing.

As I publish this article, I am in the middle of a talk at the Festival de la Sensibilité. I am sharing my journey as a highly sensitive person, the impact this has had on my life as an author, and how this characteristic shapes my daily life today.

A symbolic representation of sensitivity and intuition for literary creation and personal development.

🌪️ From curse to “superpower”

For a long time, I denied this part of myself. I considered it a curse. Society often sends us this message: you have to be “strong,” you mustn't be “too” anything... too sensitive, too emotional, too empathetic.

For years, my mind sought to erect barriers to block this sensitivity, which it considered feverish or fragile. According to my mind, it was the opposite of the survival instinct.

Yet I desperately needed it.

Today, I fully embrace this sensitivity. I no longer suffer from it: I put it to use in my writing and my coaching. It is not a weakness. It is a well-honed tool that allows me to reconnect with myself so that I can better connect with others.

What if your sensitivity was also your greatest creative strength?

🔑 Sensitivity: the backdoor to intuition

When I let my sensitivity express itself without filter, that's when I finally hear my intuition. It's a direct flow that changes everything:

  • Channeling universes: It's thanks to this emotional openness that I can bring vibrant worlds and characters to life in my novels.

  • Accompanying writers: In coaching, my sensitivity allows me to perceive invisible blockages and see the world from a different angle to help my coachees.

Accepting your sensitivity means accepting to live life to the fullest. But be careful: there is no acceptance without understanding.

It was by following this path towards myself that I was able to unleash my creative channel.

✨ And you, how is your sensitivity vibrating today?

The journey is ongoing. Every day, I am still learning not to let myself be overwhelmed by the storms in my mind. But one thing is certain: your sensitivity is a driving force, not a burden.

Ask yourself these two questions:

  1. Do you feel your sensitivity is a burden or a driving force for creativity?

  2. Does your mind stifle your intuition to “protect” you?
